Young Rembrandts drawing classes are
offered on Thursdays from 2:40 pm to 3:40 pm at St. Andrew the Apostle School during the
school year for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our philosophy is "Drawing is a learnable art".
Children learn how to draw a new project each week. Subject
matter varies from abstracts to still lives and cartooning to art
history. We focus on fine motor skills, spatial and global
reasoning (math skills), attention to detail and focus. We also
provide children with self-confidence, self-esteem and
self-expression in their work. Techniques and lessons spill over
into aspects of your child's homework. Classes are held immediately
after school for one hour. Students complete a project each week
that will be displayed in an "Art Gallery" in our school for that
week. Come join in the fun! For additional information, please
