Teacher- Mrs. Mary Smith, a graduate of Illinois Benedictine College, has taught at St. Andrew for 17 years.  Mrs. Smith also teaches Jr. High Literature.
 

Current Curriculum: The 7th and 8th grade Language Arts classes will present the 16th Annual Shakespeare Festival on Friday, February 1st for the entire school.  The play and puppet show will be Much Ado About Nothing.  Tickets are .25 each/5 for $1.00.  Proceeds go to St. Andrew School.

The 8th grade will also perform the play on Saturday, Feb.2, for families and friends.  (Two dollar admission...proceeds to 8th grade class fund)

7th grade Literature will be working on a Sherlock Holmes unit in February, and resuming Vocabulary Workshop study

8th grade Literature class will begin the novel To Kill a Mockingbird in February.
